Hold Your Trophy With Grit and Grace
They say the difference between a gold medal and no medal is a few inches. My dear friend, Jan Goss, shares in her coaching consulting programs, that it often takes only a two degree shift to what you’re doing to attain the results you are working towards.
Before you get on the road to reaching your dreams and goals, you need to prepare!
Years ago I was working at Bloomingdales in the cosmetic department and was blessed to be offered the opportunity to be a manager for a cosmetic line they were partnering with, BIBA Cosmetic, from London. During that season I had a vision. I knew that someday I would create a skin care-cosmetic line!
At the time it was a far fetch dream, but it never left me. From that moment every thing I did in my career prepared me to create my skin care brands. In 1992 I launched my first brand Glycolique. I have been evolving ever since, personally and professionally. In 1997 I developed Novita Spa Clinical Products and in 2005 the Novita Spa and Medical Rejuvenation Clinic!
The journey has been long but so rewarding. Every step has enhanced my life, but most importantly the impact on others lives.
When you have a vision write it down. Begin to get very clear on what your vision, mission and goals are.
The three most important tools I have used
to stay on track with my vision are:
- Postive Mental Attitude.
Keeping a positive mental attitude regardless of circumstances. - Gratitude.
Becoming very clear on what you are grateful for is the rocket fuel for your personal and professional life. - Renew and Expand your Mind.
Daily with prayer, meditation, spiritual reading and inspirationa, educational and motivational reading. Be a student forever! - Commitment.
Be commited to your vision, mission and goals. Start and don’t stop!

CLEAN BEAUTY
Over the last 25 years, I have been one of the pioneers in result-oriented medical grade skin care. I have built two skin care lines, Glycolique and Novita Spa Clinical products which are sold to salons, spas, medical spas and are also available on novitaspa.com. I was the first to launch result-oriented skin care to Salons in 1992. I trained and educated Salons to evolve into Luxury Day and Medical Spas.
My vision contributed to the Day Spa & Medical Spa industries that we know today.
In April 2020, my award-winning skin care line, Novita Spa Clinicals and the Hybrid Concept in Beauty, was a finalist in the Product Innovation Category, for the Austin Women’s Way Awards.
